Anita Barone

Barone appeared as Gail Cunningham, a chef in the Seinfeld show The Shoes from the fourth season. She coveted Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was cast of Carol & Company, starring with Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone performed the role of Carol Willick Ross Geller in her first Friends episode. She also played married to Carol Willick Ross Geller. Jane Sibbett replaced her after she left to take on the full-time role. Barone was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the beginning of its run (1995-1996) and in The War at Home from 2005 until 2007. In 2000 Barone has also appeared in The sitcom Daddio. Other television credits for Barone include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone won her Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2004 for her performance on the film One Last Ride. The following year, three years after The War at Home ended its run Barone began her recurring role in the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones his former husband of the character Barone played on two of the episodes.
